I was born and brought up in Gower, a peninsula to the west of Swansea, which is full of lovely beaches, little hidden valleys, farms and hills, that juts out into the Celtic sea and points in the general direction of America. Tourist brochures usually include pictures taken on nice sunny days, but as a change, I'm using one of my paintings of a Gower farm after a rare snowfall. I'm  not typing these words in a room overlooking snowy fields with Cefn Bryn in the distance - it's just that I like the colours...

 

       Well, I began my first  novel, 'The Leg', and also did some research for 'On an Offa Bus, while staying with my family in Mumbles, a seaside village at the start of Gower -  besides it's my favourite place in the world...
